The Shining

I've just been using my paper doodles to play with the poster layouts on Illustrator. I wanted to get things on screen as soon as possible because they appear very different than on paper.

I'm not really sure how the posters will look in terms of colour. I'm not sure whether silhouettes and shapes would work better than a more detailed picture. So here I'm just seeing how things appear.

As for the design, this is the first design I've created on screen. There's still further development to be done. I do quite like the idea of an axe. I think this portrays 'The Shining' well, as the axe plays a substantial part within the film. This might be a bit of an obvious answer though, so I'm going to look in to it further.
