FMP Progress Crit

Problem Analysis: Identification and evaluation of key issues relating to the brief including creative opportunities, target audience and appropriate contexts.

Comments: Possible packaging for batches of the biscuits? Stanley Kubrick.. poster size? Stock?

Contextual Understanding: Awareness of the creative and professional context for the work produced, informed by the critical analysis a range of appropriate contemporary creative practices and methods of distribution.

Comments: Looking into the right things. Good explanations.

Research: Evidence of the ability to gather material from a breadth of sources using a range of diverse and inventive primary and secondary research methods appropriate to the brief.

Comments: Appropriate research for nom project. Good analysis of blog posts- shows trial and error. Look into more movie posters.

Action Plan

Strengths: Proper nice roast boxes! Good experimentation with colour. Try green on the brown stock. Plenty of development work.

Areas for improvement: nom business card - try cutting the leaf inside the 'o' out instead?
Roast - Printed logos look better..not stickers. White type on the sticker makes the 'o' look like a paracetamol.
Identities - Good amount of development work, but would be good to see some made in illustrator.
Stanley Kubrick - Hierarchy of type on film posters - what's more important.. the film title or director?
